YMI Jeans Presents their 5th Annual Fashion Show Tonight at The Music Box Theatre with Host Aimee Teegarden of ?Friday Night Lights"
Los Angeles, CA (Vocus) October 7, 2008 -- YMI Jeans (http://www.ymijeans.com) presents their 5th annual fashion show & after-party tonight with host Aimee Teegarden of ?Friday Night Lights." A performance by multi-talented duo Nina Sky helps YMI kick off LA Fashion week with this event at The Music Box Theatre to benefit The Los Angeles County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Charlie Altuna and Jany Stanley productions, celebrity stylists and character of VH1?s ?The Cho Show?, will be producing and styling the 1970?s concert themed runway show ?Foxy Lady? featuring looks from the YMI Jeans Spring ?09 collection.
Celebrities anticipated to be present at the evening event are Kim Kardashian, Rumer Willis, Christina Milian, Kimberly Caldwell, Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza, and Miss USA Crystle Stewart.
This year, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to raise awareness of the prevalence of breast cancer among young teen women, YMI will make donations to Susan G.Komen in the name of every celebrity and performer in attendance. Each runway look will feature an exclusive ?pink? accessory to further support the cause, and the show will finish with a special Komen tribute.
To support the debut of YMI?s Spring ?09 collection and commitment to the cause, YMI has gathered the following personalities and companies to team for the evening's runway production: Ookisa Hair Thickening Systeme (an avid supporter of Susan B. Komen's Los Angeles County Affiliate); Charlie Altuna and Jany Stanley productions with the lead make-up artist and co-star of the VH1 The Cho Show; and John Stapleton of MAC Cosmetics.
VH1 will be on site to capture behind the scenes for the second season of "The Cho Show". DIRECTV and The 101 Network will join to celebrate the season premiere of Friday Night Lights Wednesday nights 9 PM ET/PT.
