KIDZBOP.Com's "Be a KIDZ BOP Star" National Talent Search Garners Nearly 2,800 Submissions; 15 Semi-Finalists Announced

NEW YORK (Business Wire EON) September 22, 2008 -- Now it's time for kids to log on to KIDZBOP.com and vote for their favorites! In this electoral season, kids will have the sole decision-making power over the selection of the four winners, who will join their families on a once-in-a-lifetime Luxury Included Caribbean vacation to shoot a KIDZ BOP music video on site at Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort & Spa in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos. Beaches Resorts, with locations in the Turks & Caicos and Jamaica, have been voted the "World's Leading Family All-Inclusive Resorts" for ten years in a row. In addition, one of the four winners from the second annual National Talent Search will be awarded their own original web series on KIDZBOP.com. Last year's talent search winners and semifinalists went on to star in such popular KIDZBOP.com original series as "Work It Out with Kendall," "What Up with Nick & Jake," and "Rockin' It Old School with Giulietta."

For the talent search, kids of all ages were invited to audition for KIDZ BOP by creating a video of themselves performing, and uploading it to the site. All submissions from the talent search were posted on the KIDZ BOP site, allowing children everywhere to share their audition videos with friends and family, watch other kids' audition videos, and even vote for themselves. In addition, randomly selected entries were also viewable on Yahoo! Kids: http://kids.yahoo.com. Semifinalists were chosen based on performance style, musical talent, star quality and personality.
