The new position will focus on driving sales of all audio and video import products, via traditional retail outlets, digital distribution and direct to consumer.

2008 marks 30 years in the music business for Pip. His history dates back to 1978 at Odyssey Records a West Coast retail chain. He spent some years as a buyer for a regional rack jobber in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland, and enjoyed a brief but fun time in Norfolk, Va. running a cash and carry style One Stop.
In 1985, Pip was hired as GM for Schwartz Brothers and was trained in music distribution by Jim Schwartz, a legend in the music industry. In 1992, he was recruited by Rykodisc and Rounder Records to help form what is now Ryko Distribution.
Pip spent 7 years at Valley Media as Director of Sales for DNA. Valley was ahead of the curve in the area of internet and "just in time" fulfillment and combining these strengths with label distribution created value for all parties.
Most recently Pip was the Director of Sales to National Accounts for Welk Music.
