IAB and PPA to Run Live Thought Leadership Video Webcast for Media Industry
London and San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) December 13 2007 -- According to BtoB Magazine's "2008 Marketing Priorities and Plans" survey findings which were published this week, 79.1% of marketers are planning to boost their online budgets next year. Webcasting has gone up from 8.8% in 2007 to 39.1% of total online marketing spend in 2008. And sponsorship (of which webcasting is one channel) has gone up from 5.5% of total marketing spend in 2007 to 29.6% in 2008.
The Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) and the Periodical Publishers Association (PPA) have teamed up to run a live thought leadership video webcast for the B2B media industry to help you understand how you can capture some of this online marketing spend using various webcasting formats. A panel of distinguished experts will look at how webcasting fits in the publisher's digital portfolio mix, how publishers can take a larger chunk of the digital marketing budget by using webcasting, what its strengths and weaknesses are, how to get started, which format to use for what and how to best go about it, who needs to be bought in and where webcasting needs to go next.
